Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted to be a teacher. My dream became a reality once I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in language arts, from Concordia University - Wisconsin. I have been in the teaching ministry since 2006 (serving at Hales Corners Lutheran School), and was called to serve here at Grace Lutheran in 2015. During my years of teaching I have taught fifth grade, sixth through eighth grade language arts, and sixth through eighth grade social studies.

One of the things I love most about teaching is building relationships with the students and seeing them grow academically and spiritually.  Preparing young minds for the future and their eternity is something I take very seriously and consider it to be a privilege, honor, and blessing.  I do love to have fun too, and I enjoy showing my school spirit as much as possible!

In addition to being a teacher, I also enjoy spending time with my family (my husband Matt and our two daughters, Harper and Kyla), walking our dog, remodeling our house, watching television, and spending time with friends.

All in all, being a teacher has given my life so much adventure and joy, and I couldn’t be happier than where I am right now. Grace Lutheran has given me a new sense of purpose, a new love for serving the Lord through my career, new friends, and an amazing place for my daughters to grow in their academic and spiritual walks. I am beyond blessed to be a Grace Lutheran Raider.
